Hi,

I followed the steps in the Documentation and installed Exponential as follow. First, I installed lampp so I would have Apache, PHP, MySQL. Then I installed the ez Components, then I set up the database (Exponential) and database user (also Exponential) in MySQL. After that I unpacked the Exponential package in "htdocs" folder of lampp. Then, I renamed the folder "Exponential-4.0.1" to "Exponential". When I ran http://localhost/Exponential/, it showed the following error messages:
<i>"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /opt/lampp/htdocs/Exponential/lib/eztemplate/classes/eztemplatearrayoperator.php on line 767

Fatal error: Class declarations may not be nested in /opt/lampp/htdocs/Exponential/lib/ezdb/classes/ezdb.php on line 108"</i>

Could anybody tell me what I did wrong or what my problems are? Thank you.

Hi,

you need to set a higher value in memory_limit setting of your php.ini. The recommended value is 64mb [1]
