So i have a .com web page and a sql database created... In the the_setup_wizard for a bundled instalation, it says that i have to write the Type: My sql Servername: www.abcd.com ???? or database aaaa or what???? (i do not know what to write www.abcd.com/aaaa ???? Username:bbbb Password:cccc But i do not know what to write... I just would like to publish a basic forum page... Thanks very much
Jaume Presas	Saturday 29 November 2003 11:51:04 am For a basic forum you don't need Exponential, there are plenty of easier and fully functional forums out there that you can use instead (look at www.hotscripts.com), but, if they work too with a MySql database, you will have to know also the same things that Exponential is asking for now. For you: server name: localhost (usually) database: aaa username: bbb password: ccc

For a basic forum you don't need Exponential, there are plenty of easier and fully functional forums out there that you can use instead (look at www.hotscripts.com), but, if they work too with a MySql database, you will have to know also the same things that Exponential is asking for now. For you:

server name: localhost (usually)
database: aaa
username: bbb
password: ccc
