Hello folks,

we selected intranet on installation of Exponential. Is it possible to give anonymous users access to the site without entering an username or password? If it is possible, how to put into effect?

Although there are some others user - they have to login to get access on protected content. Furthermore there are a few editors.

Thanks & greetz

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Installing eZ intranet package, anonymous requires login. You can change this by editing INI configuration file:

settings/siteaccess/(intranet)/site.ini.append.php

[SiteAccessSettings]
# Set the true if you don't want anonymous access to your site
RequireUserLogin=flase

Then anonymous user will have access to the site, however you can create new Roles and Polices and protect important parts of your website.
