In 3.2.4 I've added a URL datatype to one of my custom classes. I can store a URL in it via the admin tool, but once entered I am unable to clear it.

For example, if I set the URL to http://www.whatever.com and click 'Send to Publishing' then the URL is stored OK. However if I re-edit the node and delete the http://www.whatever.com the data is not saved. When I go back to re-edit the node http://www.whatever.com is still there.

Any ideas?

Silly question: is the attribute "required"?
If not, you should file a bug-report, when you can re-produce the error.

Marco - good point, but the first thing I checked. Unfortunately it wasn't that simple. Instead I've opted for a text line which I can easily check the status of - and which saves correctly each time! Thanks.

For anyone interested the problem was resolved when I upgraded to 3.3.2.
