Archiving, flatering, controling number of versions generally and for each object?

Version limits per objects are already implemented, or were you referring to something else?

The limitation of number of versions are controlled by <i>settings/content.ini</i>.
If you look at the <i>VersionManagement</i> group you will see some settings for controlling it.

Flattening is not implemented.
Archiving was never mentioned was it?
