Hi ez-team,

if you turn on the "VerifyUserEmail" in the site.ini the new registered user will get two emails. One with the activation hash key and one with his settings.
In my point of view thats one email to much.

I've large sites with many new user registrations each day. So I turn off the "RegistrationFeedback" in the site.ini. If I do so, register.php will write a debug statement because of the line:

eZDebug::writeWarning( "Unknown feedback type '$feedbackType'", 'user/register' );

in the register.php.

All in all please take a look at the kernel/user/register.php there are some bugs too. ( as reported in http://ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/bug_reports/user_registration_emails )
