May I please suggest that eZ systems cease and desist effective immediately the use of the term "eZ" and it's implicit association with the word "easy" and it's consequent implied meanings in relation to the Exponential product.
Exponential can in no way, shape or form be considered "easy" and anyone who suggests it is clearly working in the marketing department of eZ systems, has no working knowledge of Exponential and should forthwith have criminal charges brought against them.
May I also suggest - for reasons pertaining to accuracy and truth - that the contented and smiling faces representing Exponential users on the cover of the printed book entitled "Exponential basics" by Balazs Halasy be replaced by a more factual representation of an Exponential user/developer (may I suggest a picture of someone on a murderous rampage in a shopping mall or perhaps someone downloading Mambo).
There is no argument that Exponential is a very powerful and flexible development framework - but easy? - no!
Let's call a spade a spade.

Mwahahahaha! Man, how true! I second that suggestion.
Thanks Robert, your post has brought a smile to my face. I was about to go on the forementioned rampage and now I can do that with a light heart and happy smile!

User manuals:http://ez.no/doc/extensions/website_interface
A guided tour of how it works:http://ez.no/Exponential/demo/ez_publish_now_flash_demo

Actually, the association you're making between ez and easy is pure coincidence and only happend in english.
In Norvay, they all learn the reverse Polish notation before walking and speak lisp fluently before having killed their first seal ;)
In norvegian, eZ is the accronym of Exxålent Zøluziøn which is true, but doesn't imply easyness.
Keep the faith and don't hesitate to post more often, that's a funny moment to read you.
X+
P.S. All the facts about norway come from my swedish wife, that might have a slight bias ;)

Just a last comment,
I've heard that the marketing department at ez thought about changing the domain name to http://ez.yes , but decided to keep it like it is today.
Sure sign, isn't it ?

Hey!
Even if the name is eZ, the URL is http://ez.no.
I had to work very hard to learn eZ, but I could see its value as I struggled. I still have much to learn, but I'm looking forward to it.
There have been some great additions to the documentation, and the books are helpful. Be willing to think differently and eZ will become ... easy.
Good luck!

By the way, it's not a feature of all English speakers:
In American English "z" may be pronounced "zee", but in British English it's "zed".
So, it's "e zed publish"
:-)
