Why does Exponential says that the installer is only meant for testing?
And what is the case if i created already a lot of work there, how would i move to the distribution version

Hi, the installers are for testing purposes only. There are several issues/reasons for not using these in a production environment. Security issues, speed/performance issues, upgrade issues, etc. Feel free to develop on an "installer/bundle" site. This is not a problem. When finished, you could simply install Exponential the proper way (see http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/installation/normal_installation) and do the following:

- Copy over your templates/config files/etc.
- Export the database from the bundle/installer version
- Import the database to your production environment
