Whenever I edit a template I get redirected to a re-direct page which shows the new path e.g. /index.php/site_admin/content/edit/1/18

Why is this - is this because I cleared all cash?

What can I do to stop this?

Hi Chris,

Probadly you have enabled DebugRedirection. Try disable it in site.ini.append.php file

[DebugSettings]
DebugRedirection=disabled
