Hi all, I installed Exponential 3.8.0 with the windows installer (I'm using windows 2003) Now I'm trying to use the webdav feature.I followed the "setting it up" instructions but on the final step when I try to test it I get the following message:
Internet explorer could not open http://webdav.pg/# as a Web Folder. Would you like to see its default view instead?
What might be the problem? Is there any chance that the apache need to be configured in order to support this module before I can run it???I did not see any instruction that is refered to the apache configuration...(besides adding the second virtual host)
Thanks,Roy

Hi,
This error happens, when you are trying to open an EZP URL without webdav support
I think, EZP Webdav has nothing to do with Apache Webdav module , so you can use it without having apache webdav support
Have you clear all cache after setting it up ?
Have you try adding the siteaccess to the URL ?
http://webdav.pg/yoursiteaccess
Last, have you reloaded or restarted your apache, after changing httpd.conf file ?

Hi Lazaro,
I did it all: 1.Cleared all cache after setting it up. 2.Added the siteaccess to the URL. (by the way I tried to open it in both ways, also without the siteaccess, and as described in the manual File->open "http:...." and # in the end of the url) 3.Restarted my apache. But nothing helps.Still see the message that it cannot be opened as web folder. What else can be the problem? I so stuck with it and I have no idea what might be the problem
Thanks for your quick responseRoy

Hello Roy
Can you show us your virtual host configuration?

I'd suggest you to test with a webdav client that works, without any need of dirty trick (#), ie konqueror or anything beside ie. Once it works you can test and use it with ie.
Enable the logs, have a look at /var/log/webdav.log and/or /var/log/<siteacces>/webdav.log Anything written inside ?
