Problem with "Object Relation List" default selection browsing

Hello,

I have created an "Object Relation List" attribute for a custom class, with "Allowed classes" set to "User groups".

When I add a new instance of this custom class, I would like that the default location when browsing for users groups (eg: when I select the elements in my "Object Relation List" attribute) to be "User groups", not "Content". Is that possible ?

I am using Exponential 3.5.1

Thx

Alex

Take a look at [RelationAssignmentSettings] within your content.ini. I *think* you can do it through there.

Cheers.

Thanks for the hint !

However, I find the content.ini badly documented for those settings :

[RelationAssignmentSettings] -> applies to newly created objects
[RelationGroupSettings] -> applies to classes
[ObjectRelationDataTypeSettings]-> applies to ... ? This is what should help me, but there is no doc on that.

I'm interested in this, too. Does anybody have a link, I didn't find something useful via search function, but I remember this was discussed here earlier.

Hi,

have a look at browse.ini.
There is a current forum thread, dealing with it:
Re: Browsing for related objects: How to define default start nodes?

Thank you Christiane : that tip worked perfectly.
