Marco Zinn	Thursday 06 November 2003 1:33:28 pm Our "line view" template for articles does not show the publish and modification time, as we usually do not need this. But for some "news" folders, we want to override the line view template for "article", matching on parent_node . The documentation tells us, that this is possible (http://ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/documentation/customization/custom_design/override_templates), but it does not work for us. The Template-Match-Block in override.ini is at the second position (just after the pagelayout override for that siteaccess), but still, the "general" override template for articles for that siteaccess is used. So: Has anyone had success with overriding on parent_node? If so, please provide the full override.ini, if possible. I saw some old postings here with persons having problems, but also some "success" postings. PS: Yes, we cleared all caches ;) Marco http://www.hyperroad-design.com
Paul Forsyth	Thursday 06 November 2003 3:20:55 pm Yip, i've had the override working when matching by parent_node. Your position sounds fine. I find that the overrides are sensitive to file positions, but near the top should do the trick... Ok, your cache is fine, have you checked whether the admin can see it (through setup/templates) and if your file permissions are ok? paul
