dear devs,

after about 3 months of trying, i finally got ezp 3.2-3 up and running! yippieh!

now i'm trying to understand what i'm doing, making quite a good progress. but one thing comes to my mind that i cannot figure out. maybe it is too latte in the morning, but anyhow:

i'm planning on setting up a textarchive. there will be several types of texts (literary work, essays, reviews...) as well as a difference between published (print) and unpublished (online) work. every text has an author (of course) and this particular author will get his/her own info-page with a short curriculum vitae, a pic and so on. now my question: i want the user being able of ordering the archive appropriate to his/her needs. that means: s/he must be able to get any author that name is starting with a "c" plus the text must be a review. is something like that hard to code or is there an "easy" workaround? if not the user, am i able to display names with alphabetical values (display names starting with "c")?

thank you very much for any thought.
stefan
