Hi everybody,

I need to install a 3.6.1 but I get this error when accessing to the installation page : 

Unsupported PHP version 4.4.4-8

It's a problem because I can't change my LAMP configuration juste for this install, and the Ez download page says that 3.6.1 version can be run on a PHP > 4.3.4 !

Did someone have a solution to bypass this problem without changing my php version ?

Hi Sébastien,

That won't work, you need to have Exponential 3.7.x, 3.8.x or 3.9.x to run on PHP4.4.x

Could you shed some light on why you need 3.6.1, we may help you to upgrade to a supported and maintained version (3.9.x preferrably)

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your help, but I can't install or upgrade to an another version because I need to recreate an existing site who actually run on 3.6.1 and who can't be upgraded for many reasons.

So I think I'll be obliged to install a PHP 4.3.4 ...
