How to use both "Required" and "Information collector" options?

Hi,

I have installed Exponential 3 final, and am experiencing problems with a form using the Information collector option.

Apart from this, everything else is working really nice, and I am very impressed.

The Form class I have created has some fields with both the "Required" and "Information collector" options enabled. However, when publishing an object of this class, I have to enter data (because the admin interface says data is "Required"). I do not want to enter data in advance, it should only be required when users submit the form.

If i recall correctly, this worked as expected in Exponential 2.9.7. I have read both the "Creating forms" tutorial in the SDK and "Information collectors" in the manual.

Am I missing something, or is there a workaround?

Thanks in advance,

In 3.0 final you cannot set required for information collectors. In other words, input validation for information collectors are not yet supported.
