In content_view_gui (I assume you just forgot the beginning { in your posting) you are saying that content_object is the current node in the loop, while it needs to be the object. Here you are fetching all the nodes containing an article from the current level. Then you are trying to show the nodes as objects. In content_view_gui (I assume you just forgot the beginning { in your posting) you are saying that content_object is the current node in the loop, while it needs to be the object.

Two solutions:
use ...content_object=$Child:item.object}

or (as I would recomend):
change content_view_gui to node_view_gui and use content_node=$Child:item

I forget to give user access to the class but you helped me for my next quest, i was trying to display the articles using custom line display class and you hva to use nod_view_gui instead of content_view_gui to get it to use the custom template
