I need to add several functions to handle additional tasks when a user logs in. What is the proper or best way to do this? Should I add these functions to the existing user module or create a new module? These functions will include logic so I'm pretty sure that a creating a custom template operator is not the way to go although it certainly seems to be the simplest method.

I'm new to ezp (using 3.7) and would greatly appreciate any suggestions or thoughts.

Thanks
