Hi,

My current customer is using Exponential as an ECM and has a bunch of existing j2ee webapps that he would like to integrate. Is it somehow possible to have servlet applications getting security and profile data from eZ? Any pointers available on how to have those 2 technologies running smoothly together?
All kinds of advices and tips are welcome since I am en Ez newbie.

Hi,

concerning the j2ee webapps. We have done similar things before by using a php proxy to display the apps outout in Exponential.

Concerning the AUTH it is up to you how to integrate this. Maybe with a session id lookup in the eZ db. There are many ways in doing this.

Indeed

You can use the php java bridge (which acts as a kind of proxy):

http://php-java-bridge.sourceforge.net/pjb/

You can call PHP from Java and vice versa
