Does anyone know how to best accomplish this. It would make my life much easier, as I am trying to allow articles to be sorted by month without actually creating the month folders in the content tree.

Thanks.

My apologies, I'm new to the forums and did some searching and was able the find the answers I needed. This post could just as well be deleted.
