I installed Exponential and got everything running. I want to use the default login capabilities of the forum and adapt it to my own uses, so I set up my site with the forum demo. I run into a problem when creating a new user login through the forum's create user screen. It says it creates it, the user ID ticks up one, but when I try to login with the newly created user name, it says: valid username and password is required to login

I can login to the forum using the admin, but I need for users to be able to create their own data in order to log in. What am I missing here?

Using the forum, the created user will receive a confirmation mail which he'll have to use to activate the account. Before the account is activated, it's not possible to log in.
