Is there any documentation for 'texttoimage()'? If I knew how it worked, I could make a 'contribution-doc', but since I can't find any useful information on the function...

So far, what I can do with the function, is creating an image from text (duh), change the textcolor, bgcolor, font and... 'rotate' the text a little bit.
I want to know how to make the text bold, italic, etc. Also I want to know if it's possible to 'merge' two images.
Example: I have an empty image I use to make buttons. If I want to create dynamic images, I merge the button image with a text ('home', 'contact', whatever).

Can anyone help me out?
