Hi,
I know there is a contrib about that but it is old and as it is said: no further tests have been done.
Is there someone who has tested this contrib on a recent eZP version (3.6.x or 3.7.x) ?

What a pity !
It doesn't work with 3.7.2
In the INSTALL file it is wrote:
Make sure you use Exponential version 3.6.4 or higher. It probably won't work with version 3.7.x or higher, so please report issues.
...but is there higher version than 3.6.4 which is not a 3.7.x version ?
My PHP version: 4.4.0.4 (Debian/Sid)
Questions: Couldn't this datatype be <b>Information collector</b> (that would be a great thing) ?And the same for <b>Date</b> datatype ?
Because how do we do an Information <u>collector</u> birthdate attribute ?

Hi Pascal,
did you try ymcCountry with eZp 3.7.x? I didn't tested it yet, but I think the referrences issue solved with php 4.4 makes problems with this datatype. I'm going to check this soon, making a new Version for 3.7.x...
About the information collector:Even we have no use for this, I'm willing to integrate such a support. It will be in the next version.
Greetings, Daniel.

Hi Daniel,
I think many people are involed by "Information Collector" attribute option. We need this option in order to be able to make registration form. And now, there are so few Information collector datatype for this purpose.
I've discussed this issue with several french eZP users and all think this point is a lack.
Depending on the use we have of eZP, but it's often the case we need to propose registration form and collecte some of these data:
- birthday date, - age - street number - postcode (zip code) - nationality - code - telephone number - National insurance number - web adresseand so on...
For a professional CMS it's an inescapable feature that is missing. Many CMS come with the ability to provide all datatype you want and each can be collected. And of course, a data check is made on each of these datatype.
