I tried to check out 3.6.0alpha1 from SVN but end up with:

Fetching external item into 'Exponential-devel/share/locale'
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/translation/trunk/locale'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/translation/trunk/locale': could not connect to server (http://zev.ez.no)

Subsequently, install fails because it can't find any language files.
