I installed eZ end I started the setup, but somwhere near the end I got stucked.
When trying to set "Site details" I got the following error:

Warning

The database cannot be used, it uses the character set iso-8859-2 which is different from the requested charset iso-8859-1.

But I WANT to use iso-8859-2 charset on my site. But there's no place to change that in the setup. What should I do???

First off the charset is based on your language choice so you cannot really change that.

Secondly your database has been created with iso-8859-1 as the charset, this means that its not possible to use it for the language(s) you have chosen.
You will have to change the charset of your database to either iso-8859-2 or UTF-8 for Unicode support.

That's not what happened beacuse my database is in iso-8859-2, and EZ wanted iso-8859-1. But in the setup I don't get the chance to choose my language (Croatian) so how can I tell eZ to use iso-8859-2 during the setup?

Hi Marko

To solve this problem (if you haven't yet) edit
<install_dir>/share/locale/cro-HR.ini
and replace in

[Charset]
Preferred=iso-8859-2

That's all.

Best regards,
Sinisa
