can't receive email

just can't receive email after registration,it only show this message

Your account was successfully created. An e-mail will be sent to the specified e-mail address. You need to follow the instructions in that mail to activate your account.

but after few day i still can't receive the email ,is it something i set wrongly,how to correct this problem?thanks for your help
