When I add an image to an article as a related object, I include the code listed below the image (ex. <embed href='ezobject://111' />). When I look at it on the webpage, I get the following in place of the image: You do not have sufficient permissions to view this object.

Any ideas on this one, guys?

Hi,

It probably means that...You do not have sufficient permissions to view this object ;)

Change the access rights to grant read access for the user (probably anonymous) on the section media

X+

P.S. suggestion for ez: set that as the default, everyone get caught on that one ;)

Yeah, but at least they learn something from it. :) Besides, I'm not sure I want default read rights to the entire "Media files" tree.

I enabled content/read on Standard and Media sections, as well as content/view-embed for both sections and my anonymous user still can't view these embedded objects! Any ideas?

UPDATE: when I try to view the image directly in my public siteaccess, I get this debug output:

Function required:
Module : content
Function : read
ClassID : 5
MainNodeID : 86
Policies that didn't match:
PolicyID : p_358
Limitation : Section
Required : 1,

Note the empty space after "1, " above. That should be showing the Media section ID, right? Any ideas why it isn't?

UPDATE AGAIN: Clearing the cache from the command line apparently isn't powerful enough. I had to use the "Clear All Caches" button in the admin.
