Hi,
Im about to implement auction facilities on our site. So
Has anyone had experience integrating any auction software on an Exponential site?
If so can you recommend any particular software (free/opensource)?

anything to be wary of?

cheers

You can extend Exponential to support auctions. I know some sites has done this, but I don't remember the URLs. Look at how you can customize the content classes to publish information about the auction. In it's simplest form you can add two classes one for the auction and one for bids. The bids would be placed under the auction. No programming needed, you could sort the bids automatically based on the value to show the highest bid on top.

That's atleast one way of doing this which is quite simple.
