It has not been long time since I knew that the English numerals are actually called Arabic Numerals and Arabic Numerals are actually called Hindi Numerals.

I am designing an Arabic website and my client wants the digits to look in Hindi. I tried googling and searching for method to have the numbers in the website to look in hindi but with no luck. I am thinking to write an operator like

"String"|wash()

to convert the English (Arabic) digits to Arabic (Hindi) digits using the char entities such as

٢

Any help is appreciated on any direction; i.e. how to make the browser to display hindi numerals, writing the operator, etc.
