I'm new to Exponential and setting up my first site with 3.7 I'm having trouble getting anonymous access to the site. I've gone thru the tutorial (TSCM sample site)for setting up a site and read many entries in the forum with the same problem. None of the solutions posted work for my situation.

I have only one folder object and one article object in my site. They are in the 'Standard' section.

The anonymous user is in the Anonymous Users role. That role has the following polices:

1. module>>content; function>>read; limitation>>Section(standard)

2. module>>user; function>>login; limitation>>SiteAccess(mysite)

I have the RequireUserLogin=false set in my site.ini.append.php in settings/siteaccess/mysite

but still, the access denied screen is presented when the site is loaded. What am I missing?

I've been reviewing the debug output and I have found the problem, although I don't know the solution. My debug data reports:

1. User not found, returning anonymous
2. anonymous user not found, returning NoUser

I believe this would explain why the policy for anonymous does not seem to work. Can anyone suggest how I can get the anonymous user to be recognized by the system?
