Why is root access needed for uninstall?

Ilias Ch	Sunday 13 July 2003 10:22:06 am I wonder, if I'm installing Exponential manually as a non-root user, why would I need to be root to uninstall it? I can't possibly write/modify anything that only root has access to, can it?
