Hi,

due to slow performance I have decided to install (as recommanded) a php accelerator.

I have found the followings...

PHP Accelerators

    * After Burner
      Free open source accelerator available from Bware Technologies.
    * APC
      Alternative PHP Cache, Free open source accelerator available from Community Connect.
    * EAccelerator
      A fork of Turck MMCache.
    * ionCube PHP Accelerator
      A free accelerator available from ionCube.
    * Turck MMCache for PHP
      Free open source accelerator, optimizer, encoder and dynamic content cache from TurckSoft.
    * Zend Accelerator
      Commercial accelerator available from Zend Technologies, Inc.

Which one would you recommand?

and by the way I have the following setting in php.ini

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
; Resource Limits ;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

max_execution_time = 30 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 60	; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
memory_limit = 8M      ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)

Is the memory_limit enough?

Thanks a lot for your help

I was using ironcube, apc and eaccelerator

eaccelerator had best performance for me

42 MB ram is system default, if this is not enough raise it
