I've set up a couple of testing sites using the Website Interface with no bother. I have just set one up for a client and there is no website toolbar when I login in. Nor is there a site settings option on the top menu.

The earlier sites were done on version 4.0 I think, whereas the new one is on version 4.1.

Can anyone suggest what may be the problem.

If you have installed 4.1 from official packages then you are experiencing this issue: http://issues.ez.no/14622 You can find there attached patch and fixed file.

Thanks - I put in the patch and login in works and changes were visible that I had made yesterday through the admin interface.
