Versioning in Teamroom

My problem is that when i upload different versions of a file (with the same filename) it is only possible to download the latest which is tagged 'published' although it shows the versions correctly. Within the database there are entries in ezbinaryfile for the files and in the filesystem i can find all the versions.
When i look for the files from the admin interface i see the versions and it correctly displays the sizes of the files, but when i open them they always show the latest (published) version.
Perhaps it is just a setting but i am not getting it and since this is the essential part of a versioning system i would like to get this working. I also tried to set the permissions according to the manual installation entry of the technical manual of Exponential.
Version of teamroom is 1.1 and Exponential is 4.3. Installed on CentOS 5.5.
Thanks in advance!
