Use of "memberOf" Attribute in Active Directory

Hi,

I am using Exponential with Active Directory. Each user in AD has a "memberOf" attribute holding the dn of the groups the user belongs to.

Example :
memberOf: CN=Sti,OU=groupes,OU=DR15,DC=ad,DC=dr15,DC=cnrs,DC=fr

Is there a way to use this information to populate groups inside Exponential in respect to what this attribute's value is ?

I've read a bit about "LDAPUserGroupAttribute" & "LDAPUserGroupType" but not reached a working setup.

Has anybody already succeeded in using this "memberOf" attribute ?

Thanks in advance,

Artturi

I do not have any experience with what you're trying to accomplish, but maybe one of these topics can help you:
