One of my clients has a VPS with Debian, PHP 4.3.10-15 & MySQL 4.0.24. I need to upgrade PHP to 4.4.4. Should I upgrade MySql also?

The problem, I don't find how to upgrade PHP?! I've found that the apt-get command could be the solution...

Thanks in advance.

I have been looking more about the apt-get command in debian and I think it will update php and mysql without problems.

If stable, the latest version of php is 4.3 if you want to update, you have to use another package repository, dotbeb has 4.4 for instance.
