Im about to install Exponential 3 on a windows XP/Apache 2 system, and I have gotten this far in the installation guide:
"Unpacking Exponential
Use your favourite tool to unpack the downloaded Exponential package to a web-served directory (a directory that is reachable from within a web browser)."

As I am completely new to Apache, I do not know what directory I should unpack Exponential to. Further, I do not know what Apache commands i may have to run to make Apache recognize that Exponential is installed. So if anyone could help me on this, I would be very grateful : )

Cheers Børge!

Usually when you install Apache in a Windows environment. You are asked where you want to install Apache. If you know where Apache is installed, search for a directory called htdocs. This is usually the document root of the Apache web server. Or to put it differently, this is where your browser starts looking for html documents or folders when you access the adress of you Apache server.

So this is where you should unpack Exponential:

path_to_apache_directory/htdocs/your_ez_publish_directory

good luck with your installation
