Hello. :)

I just downloaded and installed Exponential (Linux version), and it is working dandy except for one rather prohibitive problem:
I cannot add files.

If I try to add, say, a quicktime file it will bring up a dialog "The document contains no data." and do nothing.

I can, however, add files which came packaged with Exponential as examples (by searching and manually entering their directories). That to me seems very odd.

I googled a bit and found other people had had my problem, but I did not unearth any solutions.

Ideas?

Thank you kindly for any help you can provide.
