I am trying to install Exponential on my webspace and am having trouble. I have setup a mysql database via the web interface for my webspace. The problem is when I enter the details i get "The database would not accept the connection, please review your settings and try again"

Setting I am using are

server: localhost
port: 3306
username: username setup for database with all permissions avaliable
password: my password
socket: blank

I can't see a place to select the database as the databases created on my webspace show as myusername_databasename

Hi Mohammed,

Stupid question from me : had you created the database before trying this ?

And secondly, are you sure that the database server runs on the localhost ?
