I am trying to perform a new installation, my first. I am running Debian Woody with PHP backported from the unstable distribution (4.3.7), Mysql 4.0.20 and have GD and Imagemagick both installed. I have shell access to the box and have created a database, unpacked the installation files, etc. When I run the Setup Wizard, I get a screen giving me 2 options, FINE TUNE or NEXT. No matter which one I click, nothing happens. I don't get any errors, but the browser just sits there waiting for ever. In the summary part of the screen, I get OK for System, but nothing alongside Image system, Mail, Database, Language or Site. I haven't tried a manual install yet, as I'd like to get the Normal install working if at all possible. Any ideas?

What does the url of your Exponential installation look like ?
