MYSQL refused connection

Hi

I've just installed the Windows bundle version of Exponential. Currently going through the setup process, and got stuck on the Database initialisation screen - MYSQL is refusing the connection. If I go into MYSQL via the command line, I can login successfully with my previous 'root' password (which is the one I've given Exponential).

Have looked through the Exponential install logs, and it seems the MYSQL service was still running during install (oops! my fault for not switching it off...)... and it failed to connect to the DB then too...

Anyone any ideas what the problem is here? The installer clearly hasn't zapped my previous MYSQL set-up, cos I can still get in on the command-line with the previous password...?

Ok - answering my own query here! But hey...

Uninstalling and reinstalling (making sure MYSQL service was turned off this time!) has done the trick... :O) All seems to be well now.
