I'm new with Exponential and I had tried to move some sites with the directions in:

http://ez.no/Exponential/documentation/configuration/backup_restore/move_to_new_provider

When I do a fresh install in the new server, seems like everything is ok but i dont know why each path has been constructed like:

http://sitename.lam-upc.com/index.php/sitename_admin/
http://sitename.lam-upc.com/index.php/sitename/
http://sitename.lam-upc.com/index.php/sitename/example.php

What does the "index.php" in the path do?
It is posible to change the path?
Or
There is any thing wrong with the instalation?

Tks!!!!

Hi Monica,

I would start by checking your Apache rewrite rules (also make sure your settings files have not been accessible).

Also check out this setting in the site.ini configuration file:
[SiteAccessSettings]
# Set to true if you want to force VirualHost mode (with RewriteRules in apache)
# If this is set to true nonVirtualHost mode will not work correctly
ForceVirtualHost=false

Kind regards,
Sebastiaan
