Jay Jerry	Tuesday 31 January 2006 11:38:34 am Hi, i'm trying to install Exponential 3.7.2 on my web site but i have a error 500 at the last step of the installation procedure. I can't tell why so if u have any idea it might be helpfull. I already tried to enabledon the debug output but i don't have any message. At least can u tell me which script is launched at this step(after the site registration page) so i can check with my provider. Thanks a lot and have a nice day

Thomas Johannessen	Thursday 09 February 2006 3:28:07 am I do have the same result in the ez setup, with 3.7.3 Removed the .httaccess_root file, but I got same error then I have tried several webhost last weeks, and some different errors. - One let me install, but cant find the Module (kernel 20) after setup, so I cant log in admin or links in public site works. - one cant connect the databases, because it reports wrong charsets, even the dBase is in the requested charset. - other report error 500 after an almost done setup as described by Jay Jerry - I also tried to setup the ez on my main host, and had the error about charset, so I used another Db (external) and it runs, I can log in etc. I then edit site.ini.append files, so I change to the already ready database I have used before, and that contains all the content I want, but then I get error; cant log in admin, and cant show any coontent in the public site view. I deleted all cache, and so as I have done this before, but this time nothing work. I think I have to migrate all my sites to webdeal.no -- or do any know what is wrong with eZ ? Or if the serverconfigurations have to be so very specific for this ez? www.taon.no

Hi Jay,

Do you have .htaccess in ezpublish_root folder? Try without it, this in some cases helps. Something wrong is with environment configuration.
