I managed to navigate the various and sundry admin interface bugs (no right menu ( http://ez.no/community/forum/install_configuration/ez_pub_3_8_right_column_missing_in_admin ), no content structure ( http://ez.no/community/bugs/new_default_contentstructuremenu_ini_settings_break_existing_configurations_unnecessarily ) and so forth). I got our ImageMagick configured correctly, managed to get an image into Exponential, and associated it with a document. got the xml, dropped it in the document. And what do I get in my webpage? A text hyperlink. (!) I finally worked out, thanks to the comments of other users (http://ez.no/community/forum/setup_design/embedded_images/re_embedded_images__2 ), that changing the template was the solution. And changing the user permissions. Doesn't anybody think this is just a touch complicated? David
