Hello all,

We have recently upgraded from php 4.3.9 (eZ 3.7.4) to 4.4.4 and then back to 4.3.9 because of mail problems.

We now have the following problem : articles are displayed in double in eZ administration interface and every edit operation ends with a fatal error like the following :

Fatal error: A database transaction in Exponential failed.

The current execution was stopped to prevent further problems.
You should contact the System Administrator of this site with the information on this page.
The current transaction ID is TRANSID-d0a191ff2386739aca41f54b8e0ebb20 and has been logged.
Please include the transaction ID and the current URL when contacting the system administrator

Hello PO Michel

Have a look at the error.log in the var directory. There you should be able to see the query that fails. Please post it here.
And how did you upgrade and then downgrade again? Just replaced the PHP version or did you do something with the database? Do you use MySQL or PostgreSql? Which version?

OK, I have found what causes the problem.

Our PHP accelerator (APC) was not enabled...
