Hi There, Hope someone can help me. I installed ezpublish4.0 with package "Website Interface", worked very well, no problems. My requirement is to change some demo content and get the results when I finished the install, To do that I followed the following steps. 1. Installed Exponential with extension Website Interface.
2. After installation, I changed the xml file called "contentobjects.xml" in the directory
"var/storage/packages/eZ-systems/ezwebin_democontent/" 3. Exported all the extensions from my pc. 4. Installed ezpublish4.0 again with the customised packages which I exported in step3 instead of getting the packages from the url http://packages.ez.no/.... mentioned in setting/packages.ini. 5. During the install no errors, package imported very well. Now when I logged into my Adminstration Interface, I saw something different: 6. No right hand menu. 7. In the user acccouts section, Members, Partners are missing. 8. In the roles and policies section, again Members, Partners Roles are missing. 9. In the Content Structure, "Exponential" node not been replaced by "Home". In summary the content is there but whole of it is unorganised. 10. Public Website is also screwed as the result of step 9. To test the whole process again and thinking I might have done something wrong in step 2 so I totally skipped step 2, but I am still getting the same results. It is a bug???? Please help Cheers.
