When i reach the stage to connect to the database I am getting this message.

Fatal error: Class 'ezcBaseOptions' not found in /home/content/w/o/r/worldoffshore/html/Exponential/kernel/private/options/ezpextensionoptions.php on line 54
Fatal error: Exponential did not finish its request

The execution of Exponential was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

can anybody let me know what I am doing wrong.

You might check to make sure you've installed eZ Components. If so, verify that it's up to date.

I downloaded components.
What do i do now.
It is pretty large 175mb. Do i drop it on my server?

I had this same issue.
You must install eZ Components

http://ezcomponents.org/docs/install

The easy way to me was:

pear install -a ezc/eZComponents

In my clean Debian Lenny install it was necessary to install php-pear first
