Hey there,

we want to translate a site into Greek language, but I have a question. There is inside the share folder a transformation folder with files like cyrillic.tr, greek.tr and search.tr . What are they for? Can someone help me?
Or how do I translate the site into Greek, because there are no locales at the moment. Can I use another instead of greek?

Thanks!
Heiner

I think tr is turkish?! thats probably not the right file for greek! Greek should be .gr or .el.

Please let me know how you get on as I am greek cypriot and would be very interested in a greek translation.

I tried attempting it myself but I found out that I had to buy the Qt toolkit by Trolltech which was quite expensive

Hi,

The tools you need are free with most Linux transations and also available for windows here.

I far as I know transformation files are used for charset conversion character translation so they have not really somethign to do with translations
