Fatal error: Undefined class name 'ezdebug' in /usr/www/htdocs/Exponential-3.2-1/lib/ezutils/classes/ezini.php on line 288
This is the first thing I see after 'tar zxvf ez..' and trying to load the index.php. I can't believe this! Is my machine sick? (I do not at all assume that this is a eZP bug, would be way to obvious!)
The first try to upgrade was this: I have a copy of my latest version called 'current', I decompressed the new 3.2-1 tar and copied it into my 'current' folder. This way, all designs, overrides should remain untouched while all old files are overwritten.
Well, the page timed out after the first try to access it. (memory limit set to 24M).
Well, I don't expect similar experiences, but if you have one, I'd be thankful :)

I tried to track the error a little bit:eZDebug is loaded before eZIni, so a call in eZIni like
eZDebug::accumulatorStart( 'ini', 'ini_load', 'Load cache' );
should be all ok.
I inserted the testline
$d = new eZDebug;
and added a echo 'constructor'; in the eZDebug constructor, to see if it was called:it was called, the error *disappeared* and - even cooler - after undoing all my changes, it didn't come back!!
The next error was behaving all the same (eZDir) and so the errors would continue.
After four years of PHP development, such behaviour is really new to me!
Any ideas what the problem could be??
Thanks a lot!!t

Problem 1 was php_accelerator cache.Problem 2 (timeout) was this: timelimit(30) is not enough on a PII 233MHz with empty caches!

I think you should win a prize trying to set up Exponential on such low-end hardware given all the layers that need to be processed before a page arrives at your browser ;-)
