In a recent installation using the eZDBFileHandler I have had the requirement to specify ports for database connections. This has seemingly uncovered a nasty bug in which when specifying ports on your database connections the primary db connection inherits data from file.ini instead of site.ini which will result in a completely broken site.

This has been reported previously at the issue tracker as well, http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=13927

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
