1.Last night, over a period of aobut 4 hours, I tried to download eZ3. In each case, after downloading from 1/4 to over 1/2 of the program, the download stopped.
I'm dial-up at 28.8.
Is there something which prohibits long (40 minutes or so) downloads? Should I just keep trying?(Although I live in Iowa, USA, I'm 50% Norwegian so would have thought download would have worked fine!) -:)
Any info would be appreciated, as it sounds like a great program.
2. By the way, this is my first experience with eZ. And of course I want "the latest and greatest." But I've read that eZ3 is much more complex than eZ2. Am I making a mistake by going to 3 instead of theearlier 2? (I'm comfortable around HTML, and beginning to learn some things about php and mysql.)
Happy New Year, Keith

Try a download manager -
have a look on download.com for DAP or GetRight- both have free (shareware) versions so you can pick up the downloads where you left off.

Thanks, Tim.
I solved the problem. I was getting this error message:"(filename) could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."
I did a Google search on the above quote and found that dozens of others have had the same problem with downloads (downloads in general, not only this one).
Solution: simply change the name (or delete) the file "compreg.dat".
Now I am the proud "owner" of Exponential and hope that I can get it up and running!
